3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape 06382 is a .045-inch thick, medium-density, black acrylic foam tape with high performance acrylic adhesives on both sides and a red release liner.

For maximum bond strength, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Typical cleaning solvents are heptane or isopropyl alcohol. Carefully read and follow manufacturer’s precautions and directions for use when using cleaning solvents. This adhesive tape is NOT like normal adhesive tape that you can feel the adhesiveness when you use it. This tape need time and pressure to get into its adhesiveness. You have to press hard to one surface, than take out the red protective plastic and press the other surface part onto the Dark Grey part of the tape and leave that for 3 days to have the full bond strength. 3M 5952 Heavy Duty Mounting VHB Tape is black, double-coated VHB adhesive tape with an acrylic foam core. A modified acrylic adhesive is on both sides of very conformable foam which provides adhesion to the broadest range of substrates/surfaces, including most powder coated paints. Comes on a red film release liner.

In many situations, they can replace rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners.
