This came in very good condition from the seller, even brand new charger cable and adapter. The tab 4 itself is ok for surfing the web and watching YouTube and netflix… please BEWARE… NETFLIX NO LONGER WORKS FOR THIS MODEL BECAUSE ITS OLD SOFTWARE. I had to download an older NETFLIX APK for it wo work. Works just fine now. Speaker quality is literally the worst I’ve ever heard on a tablet. Its laggy, is not good for playing games… camera?… it sucks… both of them (front camera and back).
Thankfully, I knew all this before I bought it, as I had a white tab 4 in the past. With that said, I obviously purchased it again… even with the flaws, if you know how to work around them… this is a pretty solid tablet, even in 2020. I recommend it for people who have patience. Also, it only has 8 gigs of memory and about 3-5 gigs is available to the user… which isn’t a lot. So don’t look to store too much on this tablet. I also have a 128g Samsung micro sd card in it…(with 119gigs to use) So I know for a fact, that it can take at least a 128g card.

Bought this to replace my 1st or 2nd gen (not sure which) Kinlde Fire HD that began to freeze up when I used the keyboard and finally quit completely. Note to Kindle owners: After I had the new tablet and figuring I had nothing to loose I hit the reset to factory settings button and now my Kindle works perfectly and most everything had been saved in the cloud.
The Galaxy is a nice size and pretty fast. Goole part of it is nice at times. Nice to be able to speak to it and have it talk back with the answer. What I don’t like is how the icons move around, you set the pages up the way you want and after some use they seem to rearrange themselves. I’ m sure that to the younger generation this is all 2nd nature and I will figure this out given enough time but the Amazon products just seem so intuitive and I guess I got spoiled. I just wish Amazon would spend more time developing the products they have instead of rushing out the next new thing. The fire phone was a great phone, basic, but for a couple hundred bucks and the option to buy it unlocked and not have a contract created a real value. Too bad they didn’t stick with it. Anyway, I give 3 stars for not being very intuitive and not much in the way of tutorial. However, if you grew up with this format the Galaxy may be a a good tab for you.

The Galaxy tab is a great size, pretty fast, and Ilike the Goole part of it.Great to to be able to speak into it and ask a question and have it talk back to you. Pretty handy at times.

Decided to move up to the S2 9.7. Will review later. Saw I could trade in the Tab 4 to Amazon for about $48. Sent it in in perfect condition with a nice case and original power cord. They sent it back saying” no accessories received”. I went on Amazon to complain although I knew they would deny my side but at least wanted to say they have problems at the trade in department. Spent a lot of time only to find not only is there no way to phone them, but no way I can find to even email them (not that a human being would read it anyway). I am a huge Amazon fan, Prime member for probably 10 years. Very disappointed I can’t even contact. Just a tip-do not waste timer with the trade in option, or trying to contact someone at Amazon.

I ordered this tablet after some bad luck with other tablets. I had the Fire HDX and absolutely loved it but it would constantly restart and I just got too frustrated dealing with that so traded it in. The next tablet I tried was the Acer Iconia 8 and that had a touch screen that was not at all responsive. By the time I got my Galaxy I was over the whole tablet issue! When I got this tablet though I was immediately pleased. I should disclose that I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 already so I loved the fact that the Galaxy Tab was so similar. I immediately had all of the settings, etc exactly how I’m used to them. I was a little disappointed in the display. Going from an HDX to the lower resolution Tab was a bit disappointing, but really for what I use it for it’s fine. The speed is pretty good, I did upgrade my storage immediately with an SD card (love that this is option) so I basically tripled my storage for $15. The camera is pretty mediocre. I’d rather take pictures with my phone, but I didn’t buy the tablet to take photos. I use my tablet for web browsing, reading on the Kindle App and answering e-mails and texts. For this purpose it’s perfect and for the money it’s an unbelievable deal. Not to mention you get all of the access that Google Play and Samsung provide. I recommend.

I’ve bought 3 of these tablets replacing my sons Samsung galaxy tab 3’s. The first thing you’ll notice is there isn’t the lag that the tab 3 had. Picture looks great and most games will run with no problems many of which weren’t compatible with the tab 3. For an affordable android tablet look no further. They hold up to constant gameplay without any of the glitches the tab 3 had. All of them are still holding strong in the hands of my kids which says a lot. Is it comparable to a high end tablet? No, but you are definitely getting your moneys worth. For playing most app games, browsing the net, fb, and whatever else they want to do with them it is an affordable option. Not going to complain about the camera or other small things since what it comes with is more then acceptable for the tablet cost. If you want a top of the line tablet get one. But for the money and features offered without any of the tab 3 issues like charging problems, random shutting down and not turning on, easy to break screen. The tab 4 has none of those issues and makes a nice entry level tablet affordable.
